31 DOH Day #30 wtih Simply Betty Stamps

Welcome to Day #30 of 31 Days of Halloween! Thank you for all the wonderful comments! You can find the blog roll in my side bar. Your first stop on the hop is Terra, you should have come to me from Lyneen, and your next stop is Rebecca. Remember to comment on all the blogs on the hop for a chance to win at the end of the month and keep in mind the Scavenger Hunt for daily prizes!

Why not check out the LOC DT Call too - we're looking for several new DT and I am thrilled that some of the 31DOH Wicked bloggers have linked up! Click here for more info.
Today I have two cards to share with you, both with images from Simply Betty Stamps - and both were freebies! This first one is from the Simply Betty Fan Page on Facebook. Why not join us there for SBS fun and frolics, sneak peaks and freebies! This image is Demonic Babe and I've chosen her dark side to share here (although I've not used the matching sentiment).
I've coloured her with Promarkers and fussy cut her out. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Fright Delight 6x6 pad and I've added ribbon from my stash. The layout is from TechnoStamper's Sketch Challenge #338 and I'll be entering the card into their challenge.

This next image was a freebie from Kit and Clowder on Facebook, her name is Day of the Dead Alex. Again I have coloured her with Promarkers and kept to grey and purple tones with some black in there too.
I have used papers from Nikki Sivil and Martha Stewart. The web corner is Spellbinders. The spiders and grave scene were Silhouette store files and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Thanks for looking!

  1. Gorgeous, Mo! Your purples are always so lovely and look like they photograph true. Is that 'cause it happens to be your fave color or the pens/pencils themselves? Mine never come out right. Beautiful cards! xxD

  8. Love both of your cards! The images are awesomely colored and the contrast between the two shows how the palette of colors we choose can change the tone of a card. The purples, grays, and black work so well on the second one and the layouts are fab on both of them!
